I took this photograph for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia from the Sierra de Can Sabater, which borders the towns of Cardedeu and Les Franqueses del Vallès, in Vallès Oriental.
The snapshot shows that the crop fields are beginning to react after the latest rains. It is a respite, also precisely the almond trees show us their blossom.
Cardedeu is located in a valley, in the center of the pre-littoral depression, but framed by mountains. In fact, less than half an hour from the town are the natural parks of Montseny, Montnegre – Corredor and the Cordillera littoral.
To the north, along the Montseny massif, where the Turó del Sui can be seen and where the Vallforners stream is born and where you can see the largest chestnut tree in Spain: Can Cuc. To the south is the Montnegre – Corredor mountain range, with the Torre del Moro.
On the other hand, the entire northern area of ??Les Franqueses del Vallès is eminently rural with a large presence of cultivated fields and forest mass.
