Three people died and four were injured this Saturday in a shooting in an upper-class neighborhood in the US city of Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred in the middle of the night, at 2:50 local time (10:50 GMT), and took place in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, right next to the popular area of ??Beverly Hills.
Of the seven people who were shot, four were outside a home and three (the deceased) were inside a vehicle, the local police reported in a first balance collected by Efe.
Two of the four victims were taken in private vehicles to area hospitals and two others were taken by ambulance, according to Police Spokesperson Sgt. Bruce Borihanh. Two were in critical condition and the other two in stable condition, Borihanh said. The ages and gender of the victims were not released.
Investigators are trying to determine if there was a party at the rental house or what kind of gathering was taking place, Borihanh said, adding that police have no information on the suspects. With the shooting over, the block was cordoned off while investigators searched for evidence.
