Emergency services have rescued the body of a man who fell into the Guadalquivir River while passing through Seville on Wednesday afternoon. Specifically, the rescue of the body took place at the Muelle de la Sal in the Seville capital hours after receiving a call alerting of the event.
The man would have fallen into the water near the Isabel II Bridge, known as the Triana Bridge, around shortly before eight in the afternoon, according to witnesses who turned to Emergencies 112 Andalucía, and did not emerge.
From 112, the Health Emergency Center 061, the Firefighters, who mobilized their diving team, the Local Police, the Civil Guard and the Port Authority were activated.
Emergency operations rescued the lifeless body of this person, without revealing the circumstances under which this event occurred, although the first indications suggest that it could be a suicide.
