This spring we have the opportunity to see the artistic work of Ignasi Esteve in various exhibition spaces in Girona, which has not gone unnoticed in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.
From four large exhibitions of his drawings and paintings at the Fundació Valvi, the Casa de Cultura, the Fundació Fita and the Museu d’Art, you can see the most characteristic features such as the use of bright and complementary colors and the figurative style where the human figure stands out.
The four exhibitions are accompanied by cultural events that help to better understand the artist and the work. In addition, there are also other related events, such as a day on landscape and color at the Espai Cràter in Olot, and scheduled visits to his workshop Can Gustà in Bàscara.
Ignasi Esteve Bosch (Girona, 1963) is a painter and landscape designer. Since graduating in Fine Arts in 1986, he has also developed teaching tasks, first at the Estudi d’ Art Fita and later at the Escola de la Dona de la Diputació in Barcelona.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions, individual and group, national and international. After obtaining the Master of Landscape Architecture (UPC, 2004), he designed the landscaping of the Molí del Mig in Torroella de Montgrí, the patios of the Faculty of Law of the University of Girona and the Desmais area near Lake Banyoles , among others.
