The creators Andreu Martínez and Magda Puig Torres, resident artist of the Teatre Lliure, play to surprise the public in Thauma, a visual montage that plays to alter the perception of things and that mixes circus, dance, magic and theater of objects.

“It is a marveling mind that discovers landscapes,” declares Puig. “We have been inspired by the comic and there are objects with remote control. And on stage we have looked for people who are very virtuous with their bodies, to create these moments of wonder, but it is not dance nor is it a circus. It is an artisanal, analogue creation, from the usual companies.”

“In front of the sleeping gaze, we want to show this marveled gaze, from that beautiful and unexpected,” adds Martínez. “The forms are not said directly, literally, but through poetry.”

The remote control pilot Erol Ileri, the verticalist Juan Carlos Panduro and the dancer Marina Rodríguez perform this “scenic poem”, in the Montjuïc Free Space (10-26/V).
