Last night, Telecinco broadcast a new installment of the musical program Factor

The contestant took to the X Factor stage to extend her family’s legacy in the world of music. But what no one in the audience or the jury expected was that the young woman was going to reveal in the middle of the program that her biological mother was Tina Muñoz, from Las Grecas. A confession that left all the members of the jury speechless. “I love it. “Did you grow up with her?” Vanesa Martín asked.

“No, I found out about this in 2017. It is a bittersweet story,” said the participant before delving fully into the story. “I was adopted when I was four years old and I have always had this artistic streak. “When I knew my origin, everything made sense,” she revealed in the middle of the stage.

According to Marta Hidalgo, both she and her sister were put up for adoption when they were only four years old. “My mother was already in a period of decline, my biological mother. And we were very lucky that my parents adopted us together,” she confessed.

After years of not knowing their roots, the sisters discovered the truth about their biological family when their sister was getting married and they saw the birth certificates. “Our original names were reflected there. She was called Syria Muñoz Barrul, and I was called Tania Muñoz Barrul,” she stated.

“I just put my name on Google and a lot of articles about my mother started to appear. What struck me a lot was the great resemblance between my mother and my twin sister. And there I said: my God, I can’t believe this is true,” she said.

Shortly after, he had the opportunity to meet his birth family, a moment that will forever remain in his memory. “The best reunion was with my sisters, I thought it was me and my twin sister, but it turned out I had three more. I feel very lucky because I already have what I was looking for, finding who my mother was, and above all giving voice to my mother’s legacy,” she declared.
