In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see how a shy sun rises for a moment crowning three doves, in Les Masies de Voltregà, on the banks of the River Ter, in the Osona region.
At the time these photos were taken, the sky was cloudy and the sun had poked its head out of the clouds, while the pigeons were quiet on the power cord.
I had time to move to capture the image with three sun-crowned doves before these birds took flight.
The contrast of the sun with the dark sky stands out in an image where the pigeons remain peacefully trapped inside the king sun, as if it gave them heat.
Pigeons are one of the most common birds in our environment, since they have perfectly adapted to living in areas inhabited by humans.
