The Community of Madrid is going to reopen this Thursday the Line 9 metro between the stations of Colombia and Príncipe de Vergara, after the completion of the renovation works carried out during the month of August.
As reported by the regional government in a statement, specifically, improvements have been made to the waterproofing systems, ceilings and interior finishes and asbestos has been removed from the vaults and the different technical rooms of the Núñez bus stops. de Balboa, Concha Espina, Cruz del Rayo and Avenida de América.
In addition, in the case of the latter, the works have coincided with the actions planned for this station within the Madrid Metro Accessibility and Inclusion Plan, which entails the installation of ten lifts, the implementation of new emergency exits and the replacement of all signage.
During this period, the Community has launched an alternative free bus service for metro users, which has covered the route affected by the works on the surface.
