As reported by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), the investigating court number 7 of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, acting as guard, has released him with the obligation to appear twice a week, the withdrawal of passport and the prohibition to leave Spain.
The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a 56-year-old man for the death of another last weekend during a fight in a bar. The emergency services were unable to revive the deceased.
The investigating judge has ordered provisional release after taking the detainee’s statement, and after the results of the first proceedings and the testimonies, he keeps the case open for the crime of reckless homicide.
The Catalan police officers received around 8:30 p.m. last Saturday that there was a man in cardiac arrest as a result of a fight that had occurred inside a bar in Molins de Rei.
Several patrols from the Generalitat Police, as well as paramedics from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM), went to the scene, and despite resuscitation maneuvers on the injured man, they were ultimately unable to do anything to save his life. Shortly after, the Mossos arrested a 56-year-old man for his alleged involvement in the events.
