Núria Picas surprised everyone by explaining on social media that her backpack had been stolen in T1 at El Prat airport. Fortunately, the mountain runner assures in the same publication that the scare has had a happy ending.
Picas has commented that he has started a chase to catch the thief and recover his belongings, which included his passport and cell phone, among others.
In fact, the athlete has assured that she ended up overpowering the thief, who “didn’t know who he was dealing with.” However, Picas has also expressed her indignation because the airport security members have let the criminal leave.
