Although it hasn’t rained much, as long as it rains, there is still hope in the face of drought. At least that is what the landscape of the Font Gran d’Ogassa and the Malatosca, portrayed in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, seems to want to tell us.

The town of Ogassa is not well connected, although there is a small road that is accessed from Sant Joan de les Abadesses.

Of all the tour of the fountains in the municipality of Ogassa, it is also worth noting the Font del Miner, located on Avenida de las Mines. We will also find the Font del Freixe, which supplies water to the population.

With regard to the Font Gran, it is accessed by a path that, starting from the Workshop, skirts the so-called Riera de la Font Gran.

The route to the Gorg de la Malatosca is relaxing, since we can hear the sound of the forest and the flow of water. We are located north of Sant Joan de las Abadesses, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Cavallera and Taga.

In Sant Joan de las Abadesses we find this Salt de la Malatosca, an idyllic, magical (even, for some, haunted) place, surrounded by nature and with a truly impressive waterfall.
