Almost two months have passed since one of the news that had the most impact on the world of social media was announced: after almost a decade together, the influencer Chiara Ferragni and the rapper Fedez ended their relationship. A relationship that seemed idyllic in the face of social networks and its millions of followers, but that has ended in a way that is at least not cordial.
The two try to handle it as best as possible for the sake of their two children, Leo and Vittoria, but the rumors do not stop happening. Their protagonists, for their part, have begun to give some details of the events that led to their separation.
First there was Chiara Ferragni’s moment in Che Tempo Che Fa with Fabio Fazio; and now it’s Fedez’s turn, who in an emotional interview with journalist Francesca Fagnani on her program Belve, on Rai2, has delved into what really happened.
Through tears and somewhat angrily, Fedez confesses that he and his still-wife were unable to cope with the last three years of their relationship, which were too complicated on all levels. Even so, he considers that the influencer “is still the most important woman in my life.”
The rapper also talked about himself, how he lived his childhood, his drug addiction, the suicide attempt he suffered when he was only 18 years old and the success that perhaps he did not know how to manage. Also about his relationship with the influencer, with whom he claims he has experienced the hardest moments of his life. “I had cancer and she is being investigated for fraud. We handled the situation poorly, but it’s not the reason we broke up.”
The so-called “Pandoro crisis” did not end the marriage relationship, but it is true that the scandal marked a turning point in the career of the influencer, who has been accused of fraud and “unfair commercial practices.” Even so, Fedez wants to settle the matter and make it clear that her crisis came from much earlier.
Fedez also wanted to deny that infidelities were the reason for their breakup. “Until I got married, they said I was gay. When I separated, I liked women. I am surprised by the lightness with which the subject is talked about,” she laments. “There are rumors that I’ve been with a girl, but… How lightly do you call me a homewrecker?”
During the interview, recorded on March 28, the rapper also revealed that he had moved to a 400-square-meter house in Piazza Castello in Milan, thus definitively abandoning the home he had shared with his wife until now.
He also confirmed that both he and Chiara Ferragni had made the decision to remove their children from social networks, following a request that he himself had made to the influencer to try to protect them from the media hurricane to which they had been subjected due to of the separation of his famous parents. “The priority is to protect children.”
