The Municipal Police of Madrid have arrested a 25-year-old young man when he was transporting two plastic bags with pink cocaine, also known as tusi, in a transport vehicle with a driver (VTC), which was circulating through the Ciudad Lineal district.

The man, who was intercepted with 55.07 grams of said narcotic, has been arrested for a crime against public health, sources from the Municipal Police inform Efe.

The events occurred last Monday, when the agents were carrying out a routine alcohol and documentation check on Avenida de Daroca and, after 7:00 p.m., they stopped a VTC in which the driver and two others were traveling. occupants.

While they were carrying out an external search of the vehicle and checking its documentation, these sources explained, the detainee, who was traveling in the passenger seat, spontaneously stated that the contents of the bags were tusi, although laboratory tests have not yet been carried out. necessary to verify it.

Although the authorities appreciate that the drug seemed “prepared for sale”, they have not determined whether the detainee intended to traffic it or if, on the contrary, it was for his own consumption.

They also seized two other empty plastic bags and several instruments for drug consumption.

At the time of arrest, the young man requested medical assistance when he felt withdrawal symptoms and was taken to the hospital by the agents themselves.
