This Wednesday the new local office of Caldes d’Estrac (Maresme) opened its doors, located on the ground floor of the Town Hall, in the same place where the old office was. The new facilities, measuring 201 square meters, have made it possible to gain space and comfort for both users and professionals.
With the launch of this center, the residents of Caldetes recover medical care in the municipality. In the last four years they have been treated at the Montalparc office, in Sant Vicenç de Montalt, since the pandemic led to the closure of the local office.
The adaptation works of the new center have been carried out by the City Council and have meant a very significant improvement. The new space allows for two to four consultations and the waiting room and customer service desk have been expanded. Changing rooms for professionals and a warehouse have also been incorporated.
The office, managed by the Institut Català de la Salut, has family medicine and nursing professionals, as well as citizen care personnel. The hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Outside of these hours, Caldensians must go to the Sant Andreu de Llavaneres CAP and on Sundays and holidays to the Arenys de Mar CAP.
