The National Police arrested last night the 31-year-old man who this Sunday seriously stabbed a young man who came out in defense of the ex-partner of the aggressor when he was going to stab her in a squatted house in the Madrid town of Parla.

The alleged perpetrator of the events, who had a restraining order for ill-treatment of the woman, was arrested last morning at the home of a relative, where he had hidden after the aforementioned events. In the next few hours he will go to court accused of crimes of injury, mistreatment and breach of sentence.

Hours earlier, around eight o’clock on Sunday afternoon, the man, an Ecuadorian national, forced the door of the home where his ex-partner, a 21-year-old Spanish woman, was staying, along with several people, on Travesía de Getafe in the municipality of Parla. .

Then a struggle began inside the house between the assailant, the girl and her companions.

During the fight, the assailant took a kitchen knife and tried to attack the woman, but one of those present intervened between them. A 20-year-old man who sustained a deep gash to the forearm. After the altercation, the assailant fled the house.

The Summa 112 services went to the scene, which treated the young man stabbed with a serious prognosis since the knife affected an artery. After applying two tourniquets to stop the bleeding, he was transferred to the Parla hospital with a serious prognosis.
