Paula Echeverría is used to receiving all kinds of sexist comments on social networks. The actress does not usually give it importance, but this time she has not been able to ignore it. The origin of the discord, a photograph that she uploaded two days ago to Instagram, in which she poses for an advertising campaign for a brand of sunglasses.

In the image, she walks while holding some balloons with one hand; with the others, the glasses in question. The look has not gone unnoticed by some users: tank top, short denim skirt and knee-high blue boots.

“You know, those of you who have been following me for years (some many years) that I don’t usually ‘enter the rag’ in anything that can be said about me on social networks. And not because I have to control myself, but because I really don’t give it not even the slightest importance”, began Echeverría.

But this time it has been different: “After seeing some comments made by some women (yes, they are all women and surely many of them are the ones who are leading the feminist demonstrations, filling their networks with motivating phrases and sentencing how we should support each other , and sorority and all those things that we know so well in theory) in my publication yesterday I feel almost obliged to comment…”.

Next, the actress has shared several screenshots with the responses she has received. “Retouch the photo a little more. You fell short,” she said one of her. “How have your arms and legs been defined from one day to the next, right? Your exercises and treatments are a true miracle… Oh no, it’s Photoshop,” another reproached him.

“You seem like a very elegant person and that you look great for your age. But I would like you to stop putting on so many filters and be more real, I think you don’t need them. There are adolescents like your daughter or mine who need to see people as they really are so as not to end up having complexes”, answered another.

But the actress assures that nothing has been modified with Photoshop and that everything is the result of her efforts, after overcoming a difficult period during her second pregnancy, when she gained 30 kilos, “despite continuing to exercise” during that period.

“I suddenly found myself with a weight in which I did not recognize myself and with an age in which things do not return to their place on their own,” he began in his plea. “Today, 2 years later, I am very proud that, based on organizing my diet, having found sports disciplines such as BalleFit, hyperopesives or just walking for an hour, I recognize myself again. And not only that, I see myself better than ever,” he says.

Paula Echeverría did not want to get into the rag of these comments: “I don’t care exactly what they say. This clarification is because I want to make it clear that perseverance and discipline work and that if you are dissatisfied with your physical condition, you can achieve it! “.
