The Civil Guard has arrested in Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria) a man who was under surveillance in the Viogen program for the prevention of sexist violence who is accused of having mistreated his two children, two babies, one of whom has been hospitalized.

As reported to EFE by sources of the investigation, the arrested man is waiting to be brought before the courts.

The two babies have already received health care and one of them has been admitted to the Maternal and Child Hospital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for observation, although his condition is not serious.

Both his mother and his brother are well, the sources have specified.
