The president of the Generalitat and future ERC candidate for the 12-M Parliamentary elections, Pere Aragonès, has assured this Saturday that in the next elections a decision will have to be made between a president for Catalonia or a delegate from Moncloa. The future ERC candidate for the 12-M Parliamentary elections has called Junts and the PSC irresponsible for “putting the interests of their parties before those of Catalonia” during an ERC political event held this Saturday at the Campus Nord of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

Under the title “Guanya Catalunya”, the group celebrates its first event after early elections were called for next April 12. “We have fought for this budget. It is the culmination of the legislature,” claimed the president of the Generalitat, regretting that Junts and the PSC have vetoed this budget, therefore forcing elections.

During his speech, Aragonés highlighted that ERC has worked to attract investment to Catalonia, make universities more accessible and so that citizens can have access to “decent housing.”
