The National Police have arrested a man in Córdoba accused of committing several robberies with violence and intimidation of workers at the Reina Sofía Hospital. The detainee had already been in prison for committing several crimes in that place.
The events occurred in the parking area, when the middle-aged man unexpectedly assaulted his victims when they were heading to their vehicles.
The victims were health personnel from the University Hospital and after struggling with them to take their belongings, he fled in his private vehicle.
After the investigation carried out by specialized agents and the data provided by the victims about the physical characteristics of the alleged perpetrator and ‘modus operandi’, the Police identified the alleged person responsible for the robberies, arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence. and intimidation and theft, becoming available to the competent judicial authority.
The detainee had been in prison in 2020 for identical events to those investigated, which occurred in the same place, until October 2023, when he was released.
