The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 40-year-old man in Lleida for an alleged crime against public health for drug trafficking. The investigation began in April when the police had indications of the presence of a very active trafficker in the downtown area of ??the city of Lleida.
The agents verified that the suspect distributed cocaine from his home, located on Alfred Perenya street, and that he also traveled by vehicle to other parts of the city to sell the drug.
Finally, the agents were able to arrest the man this Tuesday, June 27, on Ramon Llull street. The next day, Wednesday, they went to the arrestee’s home, where 118 cocaine wrappers, 98 grams of a cutting substance and 15,450 euros in cash were seized. In addition, the agents also found three precision scales and other tools for handling narcotic substances.
The detainee, with a history, will spend this Friday, June 30, at the judicial disposal of the investigative court on duty in Lleida.
