National Police agents have arrested a 53-year-old man accused of strangling his 61-year-old sister at a home in the Abastos district of València after an argument, as reported by Headquarters.
The event took place last night, around 10 p.m., when citizen security agents were called to a home due to a fight between brothers. The agents traveled to the scene and found the lifeless body of a woman.
After various inquiries, the police arrested the victim’s brother, of Spanish origin, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of homicide, which is pending being brought to justice.
According to Las Provincias in its digital edition, the man used a belt to strangle his sister and the event occurred in a building on Brasil Street in the capital of the Valencian Community. Likewise, it is also reported that the man had a restraining order against the victim.
According to what neighbors told the local media, arguments between the two brothers were frequent and the Police had gone to the house on several occasions to calm things down.
