The Mossos d’Esquadra have activated an operation in the early hours of the morning against a gang investigated for drug trafficking, especially marijuana, in the towns of El Prat de Llobregat and Sant Adrià del Besòs, in Barcelona, ??and in Tarragona.
According to sources close to the investigation, about 200 agents from various Mossos units will participate in the operation, in which a dozen entries and searches are expected, including the Criminal Investigation Area, Public Order, Citizen Security, Underground, Canine and Drones.
The operation began at 05:30 in the morning under the supervision of the guard court of El Prat de Llobregat, the town where most of the searches are being carried out.
The gang used homes and the basement of buildings, where they had even built basements, for the indoor cultivation of marijuana plants.
