A dromedary and several oxen escaped last night from an adventure center in Pertús and caused an accident involving two cars on the N-II in La Jonquera.
This has been reported by the Mossos d’Esquadra. The events took place shortly before 10:00 p.m., when the agents received a notice that an accident had occurred at kilometer 778 of the road.
When they arrived they observed that there were two vehicles involved and two oxen and a dromedary. One of the oxen was left lying in the middle of the road and was seriously injured.
Agents were eventually able to return the stray animals to the center from which they escaped.
