The National Police has arrested two minors in the province of Madrid and a third in Barcelona as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of indoctrination, terrorist self-training and conspiracy/proposal to murder.
As reported this Tuesday by the police, the detainees, “highly radicalized”, showed intention to carry out a terrorist action, for which they had obtained various manuals for the manufacture of explosives and manuals on how to manufacture TATP, the explosive known as the mother of Satan.
The operation has been developed by the General Information Commission, in addition to having the collaboration of the Provincial Information Brigades of Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona, ??being under the direction of the Minors Section of the National Court Prosecutor’s Office.
Through cyber patrolling on social networks, researchers detected the existence of different profiles that professed a jihadist ideology.
They advocated and justified the use of violence in defense of the Islamic religion. The members of terrorist groups were praised, approving and justifying their armed actions, and possible objectives were pointed out, even showing their intention to commit an action against those who did not agree with them, considered by them to be apostates.
Once the owners of the profiles were identified, they turned out to be young students, minors, highly radicalized and with an ideology entirely compatible with the jihadist postulates defended by the terrorist organization Daesh.
Given their desire to commit an action and the distribution of tasks that they had started, including the manufacture of the explosives, the agents in charge of the investigation proceeded to arrest them.
In the early hours of last Monday, in addition to the arrests, three entries and searches were carried out, seizing a large number of electronic elements and different documentation that is being analyzed.
The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Section of the National Court Prosecutor’s Office, with the head of the Central Juvenile Court decreeing the entry of the three into a closed detention center.
