Today we are in one of the quietest areas of Santa Maria de Palautordera: the agricultural area that is right next to the Temple neighborhood, a rural landscape that we see portrayed in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.
After passing through a wooded area and a small stream, we will find a large number of fields. At their best we can see them green or with the crop ready to harvest with a beautiful Montseny in the background.
But, in addition, we can also find a farmhouse and a river where we can wet our feet, relax or simply walk along the shore.
This rural area is a place with several attractions that make it easy for you to meet people passing by or on bicycles. We may also meet a shepherd and his sheep or some people riding horses while sightseeing.
Although of course, in this little oasis, not everyone comes to rest. Although there are paths more dedicated to leisure, there are also others more designed for the mobility of people between different points.
A path that will take us from the Temple neighborhood to the center of the town of Santa Maria de Palautordera or also to the next town, Sant Esteve de Palautordera.
It is an ideal walk proposal to do these days of supposed winter with so little cold and with a few sunny days and with more and more hours of sun.
