A ticket for a meal in a popular bar in Gijón, where the price of a cachopo is shown, has generated a stir on social networks. While some consider the cost to be excessive, others believe it is fair for what has been consumed.

It all depends on the point of view from where you look and sometimes, on the appetite of each person’s stomach. 332 euros and 48 euros is too much for one part of the social networks and fair for another sector.

“Having people from other teams come to Gijón is not only good for the club. Example of a friend who came with a few others from Santander. They left €330 in a business in Gijón. Add beer, overnight stays, and so on…” wrote the user who posted the photo on X.

In contrast, another user expressed his discontent by considering the price of 48 euros for a cachopo excessive. In his comment, he noted concern about the impact of tourism on the city, with high rents and exorbitant prices in establishments.

Both publications generated a wide impact with hundreds of reactions of various kinds.

The author of the message who shared the ticket also provided details about the culinary experience behind the 48 euros paid for the cachopo. In his defense, he highlighted the quality of the establishment, Casa Carmen, and the fact that the cost was divided among 13 people, resulting in an expense of approximately 25 euros per person.

In addition, he joked about possible criticism by pointing out that, although some might argue that in other places you could eat twice as much for half the price, he is satisfied with the experience provided by Casa Carmen.
