The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue team rushed to the scene near Southwest 82nd Avenue and 10th Terrace in West Miami-Dade following reports of a house fire around 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The firefighters worked tirelessly to locate the two dogs inside the house. Despite their efforts to rescue the animals, both dogs tragically passed away due to their injuries.

In a heartbreaking moment captured by 7News, one of the dogs was seen receiving oxygen from the Fire Rescue crews before ultimately succumbing to the fire. On the bright side, the elderly woman who was rescued from the house was placed on a stretcher and provided with oxygen. Fortunately, she is expected to recover from the incident.

The firefighters fought the blaze for 30 minutes until they were able to completely extinguish the flames. Thanks to their quick response and efforts, the fire was contained before it could spread to neighboring homes.
