In November 2023, the duo made up of Andy and Lucas announced in an interview in ‘El Hormiguero’ that they were retiring from the world of music. The reason is the health problems that Lucas has, specifically heart disease: “I have a small valve and we have decided that the best thing is to slow down a little,” Lucas revealed.

On their farewell tour, the people from Cadiz will give up to 30 concerts throughout Spain, and will conclude in the city of Madrid in March 2025 to say goodbye to the world of music, at least temporarily.

Both have attended ‘Semana’ magazine for an exclusive interview. In it, Lucas González has announced his intention to marry his partner Mari Jose, the woman who has been with him for three years to “make our commitment more solid, I want to formalize what we have.”

Both members are parents. Lucas of a son that he had with his previous wife and who is four years old. On Andy’s side, he has been the father of a boy and a girl, Claudia, who is very close to turning 18 years old.

In the interview, those from Cádiz have also valued the fact that they have been able to stay together at the top for more than 20 years: “Understand each other well, be patient, know that this is our job and that we love each other and we are a family. If we ever get angry, we reset and that’s it. If the fights were constant, we wouldn’t be able to be together for 20 years,” says Lucas.
