According to state media, the ascent module of the Chinese probe “Chang’e-6” has successfully lifted off from the lunar surface – with precious cargo on board.
The probe has samples from the far side of the moon, the state news agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday, citing China’s National Space Administration. According to Xinhua, “Chang’e-6” landed on the far side of the moon on Sunday.
