LOS ANGELES — A fire damaged a vacant duplex in the south Los Angeles area today and left a firefighter with a non-life-threatening injury, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to the 10900 block of South Main Street about 10 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 30 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Paramedics took the firefighter to a hospital for treatment of an unspecified injury.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze.
