A 117-year-old hotel in Pennsylvania is destroyed after a fire broke out Friday morning.

Firefighters have struggled to extinguish the fire throughout the weekend, and according to authorities, Monday morning, still in time to extinguish the last embers.

Pocono Manor Resort, which is listed in the national register of historic places, began to burn Friday morning at six o’clock local time.

No persons were injured during the fire, according to a spokesperson, began in a dining area, and then spread quickly.
