Multiple reports claim that a military helicopter crashed in Hawaii, near the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai County.
According to a spokesperson for PMRF, the incident occurred near Barking Sands’ north side.
The spokesperson for Hawaii News Now stated that the main focus at the moment is to allow first responders the ability to handle the situation.
Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, a U.S. naval facility, is the world’s largest instrumented, “multi-dimensional” training and testing missile ranges.
The Navy stated that PMRF was the only range where surface and underwater ships, aircraft and space vehicles can all operate simultaneously.
According to the station , it’s not clear at the moment how many people were aboard the helicopter or if any injuries were sustained.
This happened because two Black Hawk helicopters were involved on Tuesday in a training incident in Utah.
According to the Utah National Guard, no crew members were hurt in that training accident.
