Agents of the Mossos d’Esquadra of the Division of Criminal Investigation (DIC) are investigating the violent death of a 41-year-old man in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, in the region of Alt Penedès (Barcelona).
The events occurred at half past twelve noon when people close to the deceased reported his disappearance. Citizen security agents from the Alt Penedès police station went to his home, where they found him lifeless and with signs of violence.
Upon arrival, the Emergency Medical System (SEM) has certified his death. According to the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia, the deceased lived with his partner, another man who has not yet been located.
The case is being handled from the Court of Instruction number 3 of Vilafranca del Penedès. The investigation is still open and summary secrecy has been declared.
