At the beginning of the week, RTVE released the first seconds and the ‘how it was made’ of the video clip of EaEa, the song performed by Blanca Paloma and who will represent Spain next May in Liverpool during the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. In those first images we could see the artist sitting on a chair, dressed in rigorous black and surrounded by innumerable candles.

A few hours ago, during the new installment of Cover Night, the talent presented by Ruth Lorenzo. the public channel premiered the complete clip where Blanca Paloma appeared in a scene loaded with symbolism, in a game of light and shadow that hypnotizes and that aims to pinch the hearts of Europeans.

“I believe that there is a sharing of ideas that comes from a storm. We wanted to capture something different from the staging of Benidorm. There is an element that I proposed and had previously been left out: the chair”, explained Blanca Paloma hours before the premiere of the EaEa video clip for Eurovision 2023.

Throughout the three and a half minutes and the eight sequences that make up the EaEa video clip, we can see the artist wearing three different looks with their respective staging, five dancers who accompany her in that trance where lights and shadows They are fundamental.

In fact, the entire EaEa video clip is loaded with pure symbolism: from the empty chairs around Blanca Paloma and the moment she gets up, which represents the courage to sing in public and occupy that space as an artist, the 300 candles that accompany her, going through the choreography of the dancers as “a way of invoking our ancestors and creating a women’s rite”, or the famous fringes that surprised so much on the stage of the Benidorm Fest 2023 and that are now also present in dress form.

Blanca Paloma’s letter of introduction to the Eurovision 2023 candidacy, directed by Ángel Pastrana, mixes the strength and grit of the artist with the sensitivity and delicacy that also characterize her.

The images maintain the essence of the performer, her way of understanding music, but they also show other ways of capturing that art. Hence all the items mentioned above.

“Strength, elegance and with roots of our country. This is his letter of introduction for Eurovision 2023 ”. A presentation message from RTVE that aims to bring Blanca Paloma and her EaEa to stardom next May in Liverpool.
