In La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can enjoy these images of the spectacle of the vineyards surrounded by beautiful white flowers in Avinyó, in the Bages region.

With the arrival of spring the vines can be seen embellished with various types of flowers. All this after the dormant period of the winter season that begins after the harvest.

The vines are still normally “sleeping” at least until the months of April and May, when they will “awaken” again with the so-called “cry of the vines”, that is, the circulation of the sap.

While the new vegetative cycle of the vine does not begin and, therefore, the reactivation of the plant’s activity, it is the spring flowers that surround the vine that add a note of color and aromas to these fields.

Located north of the Bages region, Avinyó is surrounded by the characteristic oak and pine forests of the Gavarresa valley, close to the Lluçanès lands. The eminently rural and quiet environment invites you to also enjoy this white landscape of the vineyard in spring.
