Bertín Osborne returns to star in a new controversy, on account of the celebration of Father’s Day. The singer and presenter has uploaded a video to his Instagram profile in which he charged harshly against a teacher from Jerez who would have recommended her students to stop celebrating this day, which has infuriated Osborne.
“Let’s see, I’m climbing the walls. They just sent me an audio from an aunt, who apparently is a teacher at a school in Jerez, where she tells her students that Father’s Day cannot be celebrated , because Spanish families are already different. He says they have to celebrate the ‘Day of the special person’!”, he explains to his followers.
Later, the presenter becomes angry with this teacher: “But, let’s see… Who is this crazy woman? But what madhouse has she escaped from? Because they won’t have released her!… And when it’s Mother’s Day, what will it be? Mother’s Day with mustaches? Have we all gone crazy or am I crazy or is this country crazy? If I were the father of those children… Get them out of school shitting milk! Do you know what that aunt is teaching them? When they come back to your house in the afternoon… What will the children bring in their heads?
The video has not gone unnoticed on social networks: it has already accumulated 53,000 likes and more than 8,000 comments, some supporting his vision and others harshly attacking the singer. Faced with so much criticism, some celebrities such as Falete have come to his defense: “A truth like a temple is shameful and inadmissible, how much more do we have to see with these elements”, commented the Sevillian.
His daughter Alejandra has also come to his defense: “Dad, how right you are! For example, my son does not understand why it is celebrated on March 8, Women’s Day, and there is no day to celebrate men’s… And how do you explain it to him?
A reaction not without controversy, to which some users were quick to reply: “You’re like your father, you don’t understand anything” or “Calm down, Alejandra, November 19 is Men’s Day and you can celebrate with your father, drinking came from Jerez”.
Alejandra has wanted to qualify her words, by assuring that she is a feminist and that she is in favor of equality, but that she does not share some issues of the movement, which she says encourages hatred towards men.
