The Civil Guard of Ciudad Real has detected several applicants using a spy kit in the theoretical knowledge control tests to obtain a driving license.
The events occurred while the applicants were carrying out the theoretical tests to obtain a class ‘B’ driving license in the official premises of the examination center of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Ciudad Real, the Civil Guard has reported in a statement. .
As a result of the investigation that the armed institute had been carrying out, agents belonging to the Traffic Research and Analysis Group (GIAT) of the Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard of Ciudad Real established a police surveillance operation in the indicated facilities, which was detected during the examination process the use by several people of an unauthorized intercom device connected to the outside of the examination room.
Due to these facts, the corresponding acts-complaint were drawn up for a very serious infringement of the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 6/2015, of October 30, which approves the consolidated text of the Law on Traffic, Circulation of Motor Vehicles and Road Safety, for using intercommunication devices not authorized by regulation in the tests to obtain and recover the driving license, or collaborating or assisting with the use of said devices, sanctioned with a fine of 500 euros and with the impossibility of being able to appear at the aforementioned evidence within a period of six months, which has been sent to the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Ciudad Real.
