This Friday, Sálvame has learned the last hour about Rappel’s state of health by connecting, via video call, with the Madrid hospital room where he is admitted. Thus, the Telecinco program has obtained the first words of the seer after his hospitalization.
“I’ve had a scare,” Rappel began by recounting. “Three days ago I was eating with some friends, in a very calm way and without any symptoms of anything, and suddenly I started trembling, as if I had an epileptic attack,” he says of the moment he began to feel bad.
“I couldn’t speak, I stuttered… I didn’t know what was happening,” he continued. The television station needed medical tests to find out what was happening: “As soon as they did tests, they told me that the origin was pneumonia,” he said.
Rappel has publicly thanked the expressions of affection he has received since his hospital admission was known. “Friends are calling me from all over Spain, people who haven’t heard from them for years. I don’t want to get emotional, but it is very emotional to feel loved,” he declared between sobs.
The seer is confident that “in a couple of days” he can leave the hospital. Rappel has said that “the analyzes are very good, everything is very good, so except for some setback” he will be able to continue with his treatment from home.
