A court in Murcia has sent Roger to jail. L.S accused of killing the manager of the Canovelles shooting club last Saturday. The judge charged him with the crimes of homicide or murder, illegal possession of weapons, and the crime of resisting or attacking authority, all of them in connection with minor crimes of injury. Roger L.S, a 20-year-old member of the shooting club, riddled the club’s gunsmith with five shots in the back without saying a word and taking advantage of the fact that the victim was sweeping the premises before closing.

After committing the crime, he kidnapped two women whom he intercepted at a car wash in Barcelona and forced them at gunpoint to drive to Murcia where he was finally arrested by the National Police. For this reason, the court also charges him with two crimes of illegal detention. Now the court will send the detainee to Catalonia so that he is at the disposal of a court in Granollers – the competent one since it is where the events occurred – that he must re-order the prison.

The women arrived in Murcia early Sunday morning after driving nearly 600 kilometers for six hours kidnapped. They traveled to the Murcia train station and when they reached the municipality of Molina de Segura they called the police, telling them what had happened to them and informing them where their kidnapper was. Two agents entered the hall of the station and identified Roger that he was sitting and that, after noticing the presence of the police, he was taking out one of the pistols that he was carrying. The agents managed to subdue and disarm him. He had two pistols and a bladed weapon on him and told them that he thought they were going to shoot him.

After killing the employee of the shooting club, Roger also held up a woman at gunpoint so that she would take him to Barcelona. The Mossos searched for him on the Collserola mountain throughout the night. However, Roger was on his way to Murcia riding in the car of the two women he kidnapped.
