Two people have died and five have been injured this Monday in a traffic accident due to the collision of two cars and a truck at kilometer 128 of the A-4, near Camuñas (Toledo), as reported to Europa Press sources from the 112 Emergency and Emergency Service of Castilla-La Mancha.
The accident occurred at dawn, around 1:00 a.m. The truck would have been crossed in the middle of the road and the two cars would have collided with it, the sources have indicated.
The two people who died -a 58-year-old man and a woman- were on board one of the vehicles, in which two other men -aged 33 and 37- have also been seriously injured, and have been taken to hospitals. from Ciudad Real and Alcazar de San Juan.
For its part, in the other car that had an accident, two people were slightly injured and were discharged at the scene of the accident, while the 28-year-old driver of the truck was slightly injured and taken to the Alcázar de San Juan.
The fatal accident has caused the traffic to be cut off on the highway and for now an alternative step is being taken for vehicles traveling in the direction of Andalusia on the CM-42, the sources have pointed out. The Civil Guard, the Orgaz and Villacañas firefighters, a medical helicopter, two ICUs, two basic life support ambulances and an emergency doctor have participated in the operation.
