In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we show images of Berguedà several years ago, when the water level was high, in the Baells reservoir and in the first stretch of the Llobregat river.

Nothing to do with the scenario that we find ourselves in this spring of 2023 with the persistent drought in Catalonia. In fact, currently, the lack of rain is a problem that affects more than half of the territory in Europe and some 340 million people.

The lack of precipitation, heat waves and climate change are some of the factors that have contributed to this situation. Not in vain are we going to end the month of April with temperatures that are close to 40 degrees in some parts of Spain.
