The National Police is looking for two prisoners who escaped last Wednesday while they were outside the prison on an excursion in Aranjuez during a meal, union sources have transferred to Europa Press.
It was about a scheduled departure of more than a dozen inmates to Aranjuez to see the Royal Palace and eat at the Matilde restaurant. During the meal, two second-grade inmates took the opportunity to go outside the restaurant and escape.
The prison director was present in the restaurant when the escape occurred, according to these same sources. At the moment, they are in search and capture.
