A 30-year-old man is in provisional prison after he was arrested by the Jaén National Police as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a minor under 14 years of age.
It was last Monday when the girl, accompanied by her mother, went to the doctor and told what had happened to her, at which time the health professionals activated the protocol provided for in these cases and notified the coroner and the National Police, as reported by this Thursday sources of this body.
A patrol went to the health center and later accompanied them to the police station, where the corresponding complaint was filed. In it, she explained that she had met the young man shortly before and he invited her to go to her house, where she “forced her to have sexual relations without her consent.”
The agents opened an investigation and identified the man, who was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault. Subsequently, the young man, who has a record for other types of events, was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, which ordered his entry into provisional detention, according to the aforementioned sources.
