Two men between the ages of 60 and 91 have drowned on a Valencia beach and in a swimming pool in the Valencian town of Vilamarxant, according to sources from the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU).

The first incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. yesterday, when the CICU received a notice that an unconscious man had been pulled from the water on the Cabanyal-Arenas beach in Valencia.

A SAMU unit was mobilized to the area and the first assistance was provided by a Red Cross unit. Upon his arrival, the medical team performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other stabilization techniques on the man, in his 60s, but there was no response, he had died.

A few hours later, specifically at 6:30 p.m., another notice appeared to request the intervention of the CICU, in this case by a man who was at the bottom of the pool of a villa in Vilamarxant.

A SAMU unit and a Primary Care medical team moved to the place. Medical services could only confirm the death of the 91-year-old man. In both cases, the judicial autopsy will reveal the causes of the drowning.
