A man identified as a neo-Nazi by eyewitnesses tarnished Sumar’s party in Madrid last election night, after he broke into the bar where officers and supporters of the formation met and starred in an incident in which he even exhibited a bladed weapon.

According to eye sources, the events occurred in a downtown establishment where Sumar had met to celebrate the result of the general elections this Sunday when, at around 2:30 a.m. this morning, an individual with various tattoos –among them, and according to these testimonies, the extreme right-wing symbol ’88’, which represents the Nazi salute ‘Heil Hitler’– entered the premises, reports Europa Press.

At that time, different Sumar officials were in the bar, such as his spokesman, Ernest Urtasun; the representative elected by Madrid Íñigo Errejón; the formation’s Housing spokesperson, Alejandra Jacinto, or the spokesperson for Más Madrid in the regional Assembly, Mónica García, as well as various supporters and journalists.

According to the same sources, the individual adopted a violent attitude and came to confront several people, after which he was expelled from the premises by the doorman, although apparently at that moment he took out a sharp object that could correspond to a large knife.

The same witnesses suggest that this person was wearing a hard plastic corset at that time, which is usually used to protect the thorax in cases of rib injuries.

After the incident, according to these witnesses, police officers went to the premises, although the individual had already left.
