The A-6 motorway will suffer cuts for four weeks on both roads starting this Monday, due to rehabilitation works on the pavement between kilometer points 7.5 and 22.2, in the Community of Madrid, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) reports this Monday.

The effects on circulation with lane cuts will occur on weekdays from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. between kilometers 17.1 and 19.2 (direction A Coruña) and between kilometers 19.2 and 7.5 (direction Madrid) of the aforementioned highway, says the Mitma in a note in which it cites the proposed alternative itineraries.

The Ministry explains that the works will be carried out starting this Monday between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on weekdays to minimize inconvenience, and that traffic will be restored on both roads during the weekends.

The works will affect a different section of the highway, being distributed as follows: the week of July 24 to 28 there will be cuts in two of the four lanes between kilometers 17.1 and 19.2 in the direction of A Coruña. Affected links: PK 17 Camino Viejo de Madrid. PK 18 M-505. PK 19 Las Rozas. Alternative itinerary through M-40, M-503, M-50 is recommended.

The following week there will be a cut in two of the four lanes between kilometers 19,250 and 17.5 in the direction of Madrid. Links affected: PK 19 Las Rozas / PK 18 M-505. Alternative itinerary through M-50, M-503, M-40 is recommended.

The week of 7 to 11 and from 16 to 18 there will be cuts in two of the three lanes between kilometers 10.4 and 7.5 in the direction of Madrid. ? Links affected: PK 10 Aravaca / PK 9 M-500 / PK 8 Hipódromo. Alternative itinerary through M-40 is recommended.

During the hours in which the works are carried out, the circulation conditions of the HOV Bus, due to their condition, will be established depending at all times on the state of circulation that is registered in the trunk of A-6 and HOV Bus, and will be signaled on the variable message access light panels to the existing central lanes.
