The Valencia City Council and the Municipal Sports Foundation will open the doors of the Fuente de San Luis Municipal Pavilion this Sunday to “live the great festival of women’s football” and to be able to follow the historic final of the women’s football world cup live.
The doors will open at 11:00 in the morning and access, which will be through door 2, will be completely free. The live broadcast will feature animation, commentators and a draw for two shirts signed by the players of the national team, as well as other different gifts.
This celebration has the support and endorsement of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the Football Federation of the Valencian Community, Valencia CF, Levante UD and Valencia Basket, among other sports clubs. In addition, it has the pertinent authorization from RTVE.
The mayoress of Valencia, María José Catalá, has described as “historic” the World Cup final in which the Spanish women’s soccer team disputes the title. In this sense, Catalá has stated that “València goes with the girls to the end of the world” and she has invited all citizens to attend the live broadcast of this final “to cheer on” the Spanish women’s soccer team.
