The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard opened an investigation yesterday to clarify the assault that was the object of the house of the singer María del Monte, in the town of Gines (Seville), with her inside, by some hooded

According to sources from the Civil Guard, the events took place on Friday morning when the Sevillian singer and her partner, the journalist Inmaculada Casal, were there, but no further information has yet emerged about what happened.

The agents of the Judicial Police have already carried out a first visual inspection of the home, located on Carrer Lope de Vega, with the aim of finding any evidence to identify the perpetrators of the assault, for which so far no arrests have been made, and has also taken a statement from the victims.

Of the assailants, it is known, according to Diario de Sevilla, that “they were a group made up of at least five people and that they all had their faces covered and gloves so as not to leave traces. They stole an amount of money that has not transpired.”

The assault takes place in the same week that another singer, Miguel Bosé, also reported a similar mishap at his home in the Mexican capital. The artist was robbed on the night of August 18, when several armed individuals entered his home. Bosé revealed on the networks that a group of 10 armed subjects entered his home. “They assaulted us, tied up my children, the house staff and me for more than two hours.”

The singer later stated that everyone is fine, despite the fact that the thieves took “everything, including the car”, and that the crime seemed to be “very studied and measured”.
