Late this Sunday afternoon, Civil Protection reported a multiple accident that occurred in Montmeló (Vallès Oriental). In statements made to La Vanguardia, Civil Protection has confirmed the death of three people when a train ran over a group of seven people who were crossing at an unauthorized point near the station in the Vallesan town.

According to information from Renfe, the accident occurred at 8:22 p.m. this Sunday, when a Rodalies R3 train ran over them, but at the moment they do not know more details about the accident.

Emergency services teams are working at this point, while the convoy would be stopped. Renfe is preparing an alternative road service for passengers affected by the cutting of the line between Parets del Vallès and Granollers-Canovelles.
