The return of the Grand Prix was a real success on Spanish Television’s television schedule last summer. The legendary contest presented by Ramón García returned to prime time on La 1 completely renewed, with new faces, but with the same essence as always, the one that managed to conquer the hearts of the little ones and the not so little ones more than 18 years ago.

Now, the public entity is completely immersed in the recordings of the new edition of the contest, which will be broadcast during the coming summer months. In addition, Spanish Television revealed a few weeks ago the 14 towns that will compete in the new season of the contest.

The 14 towns that will participate in the 2024 Grand Prix are: Almacelles, Bembibre, Binissalem, Burela, Cangas de Onís, Llerena, Medio de Cudeyo, Morata de Tajuña, Ondara, Olvera, San Adrián, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Tauste and Villanueva of the Tower

For their part, Ramón García and Cristina López Pérez, better known as Cristinini, announced their return for this new batch of programs almost at the same time that RTVE confirmed the renewal of the program. About whom practically nothing was known was Michelle Calvó, the third presenter of the format. However, the situation took a radical turn this Friday when the VerTele medium revealed that the actress was not going to be in this new edition.

According to the aforementioned media, the reason was due to incompatibility with his professional agenda. Despite his absence, those responsible for the program have decided to bet on the duo of Ramón García and Cristinini and not look for a replacement for Calvó.

After the news came to light, the actress herself confirmed her departure through her social networks. ”You were wondering if I will be in the new season of my beloved @grandprix_tve but with great regret I find myself filming a project that makes it impossible for me to be part of this edition. I will really miss being with my colleagues and my beloved people, but don’t get lost. I send you all the luck (you don’t need it), success and love to the Grand Prix super family. I love you and admire you. Thank you always for loving me so much,’ she wrote on her Instagram profile.
